About Us
It all began when readers of the book, The Most Important Word, began asking if there were going to be a sequel. Some shared, I wish I had been asked to participate. I would love to add my point of view on these questions… The book’s author, Hewlette Pearson, conducted interviews with over 38 responders and asked 3 simple questions: What is your definition of love? How do you go about showing love? And how do you feel when love is expressed or shown to you? Some admitted that reading respondents’ stories brought a sort of urgency to do more in their community.
Instead of writing a sequel, Hewlette was inspired to establish a community organization that would carry this important message of love at every level of society. In September 2014, iLove Now began impacting its community by hosting a celebration gathering of community leaders and influencers. They were introduced to the organization and challenged to actively show love selflessly and intentionally every day in their respective fields of influence.
Since that time, there has been an overwhelming need for the display of love in our world. It is apparent that the world pandemic of COVID19 has given darkness the right to parade itself. Our world, as we knew it, has changed and the darkness of injustice, crime, hate, intolerance, selfishness, and apathy are at an all time high.
LOVE IS STRONGER! And iLove Now is focused on challenging and equipping persons to pierce through the darkness with the light of kindness, understanding, justice, love, selflessness, and intentionality.
